Emotional Juggler Poems

She tosses them up and watches them fall,
Juggles with fire, with conflict and war
suffocation of safety, claustrophobia of life
exhileration, danger, contentment and strife.

Throws them all up and pulls you all down
Sadly joyful, juggling clown
Hope’s edge, anxiety’s cliffs
Analytical reasoning of life’s buts and ifs

She wants to run, but “why?” she sighs
She wants to stay but tears she cries
She’s trapped but free and traps and frees
She yearns for fire and water, seas

Doesn’t want to be broken, stripped of strength
Seeking a soul mate at arm’s length
She tosses them up and watches them fall,
Intensely passionate, conscious of all.
